Round 2 – The Jackson Family

I know it’s not fair to my simmies to have favorites, but I just can’t help myself with this family. As boring as the West family is, I never have a dull moment with this one. They were absolutely hilarious at some moments.

I hope you enjoy the chaos and comedy of each and every member of the Jackson family!

P.S. d.d. 23-5-08: Aaargh, I just found out I mixed up Nelson and Malcolm! Malcolm is the oldest of the two and Nelson is the nerdy one. I changed it in my story and comments to make it all work out again πŸ˜‰

The Jackson family – Legally Blond

Eric has been worrying a lot lately. He worries about his kids not doing their homework, but instead smustling their lives away. He worries about the lack of promotions in his career. And he worries about his love live. He desperately wanted to get married again, to find someone he could spend the rest of his live with.

He noticed his young and attractive new neighbor miss Newman a couple of times now. She seemed to be interested and had some lively conversations with Eric, but when he finally had the courage to ask her what she likes in a man he knew she told him she liked blonds. And Eric was a lot of things but definitely not blond.

But Eric was tired of waiting for miss Right and would definitely settle for miss Right Now. One day, right after work, he made a trip to Greenport City and didn’t come home until all the kids were already asleep.

The next morning he had some explaining to do. Especially little Shanice wanted to know everything about her daddy’s new cut and dye.

Even though his kids made fun of him behind his back, it worked like a charm with Heather. She just couldn’t keep her eyes of his golden locks.

But Eric wasn’t the only member of the Jackson family who acted like it was spring in stead of winter. On the coldest day of the year, things started to get pretty heated. The kids had the day off school because of the snow fall earlier that morning. Shanice immediately amused herself by making snow angels.

Ivy Copur came over to “chill” with the Jackson kids. Even though she’s Rochelle’s best friend, she couldn’t help but flirt with her older brother Malcolm.

This didn’t go well with Nelson. He thought it was the rudest thing. She should be having a good time with his sister Rochelle and now she was spending all her time walking after Nelson like some lovesick puppy.

Malcolm tried to calm his brother down. He thought that Nelson might just be a little bit jealous because he didn’t have any luck with the girls yet. Rochelle knew a girl in school that seemed to have her eye on Nelson, but has been to shy to tell him. Luckily, Nelson responded pretty well to her confession.

Malcolm was really happy about his little brother finally having a girlfriend. He got a bit carried away…

…And she definitely did not appreciate his rough ways.

Only time will tell if Malcolm and Nelson will get along with the love interest of the other. But looking at the snowman they made in the yard, things will probably get very interesting.

To be continued…

Author’s Note: I really love playing this family. They do the funniest things. They really hate each others girlfriends and start fighting with them autonomously. The girls are a pretty good match though the both have 2 thunderbolts.

  1. Hahaha, wow. This family is pretty crazy–but it makes for a very entertaining read. How amusing that he went off and dyed his hair! It’s definitely a new look.

edit: his entire want panel was filled with more or less romantic interactions with Heather, but she just thought he was a nice guy. I had to to help the guy out and now I’ll let ACR do the rest πŸ˜‰

  2. He looks nice-ish blonde. That was definitely a smart move on his part, but he really went out of his way for Miss Newman.

edit: it was the best blond hairstyle I could find for him. I can’t help but giggle every time I see him with his new hairdo. He’s a goody-two-shoe type of daddy and this new hairdo might just be a bit to hip for him πŸ˜‰ But artsy Heather definitely seems to like it a lot so far.

  3. Eric dyed his hair, that is just too funny, he must really want a woman πŸ™‚

The brothers act like real brothers, but giving your brother’s girl a noogie, was that really necessary Malcolm? lol

edit: yep, Eric is pretty desperate at this point. He’s playing with a flour sack baby whenever I’m not paying enough attention πŸ˜‰ The boys are too funny. They really dislike each others girlfriend. I guess they just think the other deserves better.

  4. Haha, Eric looks funny with Blond hair and black facial hair! :] Your right this family looks VERY amusing!

edit: I really like this family best so far. They’re always on the brink of nervous breakdown, but they do the funniest things. I never thought a home full of teens and a single dad would be this amusing.

  5. lol, this family certainly looks like they keep things interesting for you! Malcolm needs to learn to express his approval of his brother’s girlfriend in other, friendlier ways. πŸ˜‰

edit: I never expected them to be so hostile to each others girlfriends. I have no idea if they’re going to grow out of it or whether they continue to be like this through college. I definitely agree that they should improve their manners, but it’s so much fun watching them misbehave πŸ˜‰

  6. LOL at the new hair πŸ™‚ The kids are funny too!

edit: Dad’s too busy with his own love life and now his kids are acting crazy! The only normal one so far is little Shanice. But she’ll soon grow into a teen, so will have to wait and see if she turns out to be the most stable one of the Jackson family.

  7. The blond looks sort of nice on him. It is kind of sad that he had to do all that to attract her attention.

edit: LOL, sims are so superficial! I’m hoping they’ll fix that in the sims 3 though. I’d love to see some more complex and realistic rules of attraction than for example being a taurus, blond and wearing pyamas πŸ˜‰
