Yep, It’s really becoming a little community now. The first two community lots have been added to Aurora Valley: a grocery store and a church. After playing the Walker family, I thought I heard some wedding bells so a church would be a nice addition to the neighborhood. I also figured that a grocery store would be the most logical other community lot for a small but growing neighborhood.
The Church

The church has a little graveyard in the back as well as a lovely garden for an outdoor wedding. Inside the church there’s plenty of room for an elaborate ceremony and a back room for some big time partying or a farewell ceremony for a loved one.

The Grocery Store

The grocery store is simple but has all the necessary goods for making a good meal. The grocery story isn’t a family business but run by the Aurora Valley Community Council and all proceedings will be used for the further development of community lots in Aurora Valley.

I love the bunnies on the apple packaging

How cute! I found your site the other day, and I like it
You have such interesting families.. Good pics, too, by the way. It’s great, huh, making a whole hood from scratch?
This looks really promising! Keep up!
edit: thanks! Creating a new hood is a lot of work. But it’s loads of fun as well

That church looks great! And the grocery store is cute and cozy!
edit:thanks! The church was definitely the hardest to make, but it was a lot of fun. I’ve been skimming the internet for some nice “new england” type churches.

Oooh, very cool! I haven’t really used any of the community lots I originally made, but hopefully the park I created recently will get some use.
I really like the church.
edit:thanks! I can’t wait to use the church for a big time wedding. A park sounds like a wonderful idea. Can’t wait to see it in your hood. The next community lot I’ll make will probably be a Town Square, but that will definitely take me some time

Your church looks great, I love the multistory stained glass windows! I’d definately shop at such a quaint and cozy grocer
edit:thanks! I was going for a small town look. I really love the weathered wood look for Aurora Valley. Those stained glass windows are from MTS2 by the way. I love their custom content
